POSITION OVERVIEW:The Manager, Live Production and Digital Displays is responsible for leading all aspects of the systems and processes that support the in-arena production environment at Prudential Center. This candidate must have a passion for live production, control room technology, and delivering world-class execution for the Prudential Center and the New Jersey Devils live arena productions.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW:
  • Assist the Director, Live Production and Digital Displays with the management and load-in of all digital displays, including screens tied to the Prudential Center Control Room, New Jersey Devils studio, and IPTV System.
  • Schedule, oversee payroll, and serve as the point of contact for the part-time Rockvision control room staff.
  • Control room point of contact to external stakeholders for all Prudential Center events, including Seton Hall basketball games, concerts, and other public and private events that require live production.
  • Camera direct in-bowl events that require live production as needed, including Seton Hall basketball games, open practices, graduations, and neutral site basketball games.
  • Occasionally camera directs New Jersey Devils games as needed.
  • Handle LED & IPTV logs and reports for all Prudential Center events to meet sponsorship contractual obligations and market shows and internal communication.
  • Administer in-game messaging and camera shot requests from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead integration of social media, mobile interactive games, and live data to the control room, including player and puck tracking.
  • Assist in other projects as needed.
  • Minor editing and GFX as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and ensure projects are delivered by set target dates.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Ability to develop creative and fresh ideas that will improve our systems and/or processes.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating in a team dynamic.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5 or more years of demonstrated ability in leading or supporting in-arena live production.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere and Photoshop) is required.
  • Knowledge of TriplePlay IPTV systems is required.
  • Knowledge of Ross Xpression, Acuity, & Tessera is required.
  • Experience with control room equipment and execution is required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • This role may be required to travel on rare occasions; trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • This position generally requires that work be performed from the Prudential Center/New Jersey Devils offices, but attendance at events taking place in the arena or offsite, including on weekends and/or holidays, may be required.
