Assists management and senior IT specialists in managing acquisition of information technology (IT) assets.Evaluates and recommends adoption of new or enhanced approaches to delivering IT services to customer.
Analyzes requirements and establishes plans of action for improving IT applications. Analyzes existing and planned IT applications, both hardware and software, to determine current and future potential for enhancements.
Based upon the organization's goals and objectives, an assessment of available resources, and extrapolation of cost benefit analysis data, recommends adjustments to IT priorities to meet changing mission needs, program plans, goals and objectives.
Provides technical assistance to system users and contractors.
