Description:

A company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to work at one of our facilities. As part of your job you will have to complete all maintenance functions including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, while promoting and practicing safety at all times, and contributing to the continuous improvement of plant equipment by finding ways to eliminate unscheduled downtime and improve efficiency. You will be responsible to:

Install and disassemble electrical systems including mechanical/electrical systems

Maintain, install conduits, raceways and wire according to local code

Troubleshoot problems with power distribution at levels 460 V and lower motor control circuits including single and complex latching, relays timers VFD analog and digital circuits

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

Have a High school diploma or GED

Have 3+ years of experience and/or training in an industrial maintenance environment

Must have controls experience both on 120V, and 24V DC, along with sensor and actuator experience.

Must have PLC troubleshooting experience, programming is not required

Have excellent written, reading comprehension and math skills

Demonstrate ability to read and understand blueprints and/or schematic drawings to determine the proper work procedures and assembly requirements

Have direct knowledge of how to troubleshoot, repair and maintain pumps, mixers, and processing equipment

Be able to lift up to 50lbs

Electrical maintenance experience, National Electrical code (NEC), ARC Flash, Electrical safety

Plant-level electrical distribution, PLC programing and troubleshooting, motor controls and signals, general plant maintenance, value and support safety

AC/DC, PLC, HMI, VFD, conduit and piping, ARC flash, support safety

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:
