Alight Solutions is hiring a Principal Architect for the Cybersecurity Services portfolio to serve as a security champion within our organization. The ideal candidate should be passionate about security and excited to promote and teach it within our organization. This role will collaborate with other cyber product owners, IT partners, and business stakeholders to help define, implement, and ensure our technology and processes are aligned to the cyber threats that could impact the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with other architects and product owners to plan future efforts to reduce risk for the enterprise, based on threat probability, availability of resources, and competing efforts.
  • Delivery of complex technical risk topics to multiple levels of audience.
  • Conduct security reviews and audits of new software/applications, as well as existing software, and communicate audit results with stakeholders.
  • Assist in the creation of client ready materials.
  • Assist in the education of those in IT and the lines of business on cyber concepts.
  • Step in to assist with every aspect of Cybersecurity as needed. We are a tight-knit group, with many overlapping areas of responsibility.
  • Drive the development of technology roadmaps in traditional and cloud hosting environments.
  • Drive quality across cyber product domain solutions in support of enterprise security and client security requirements.
  • Help operationalize products and transition to the Operations

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in technology and 6 of that in cyber security across multiple domains
  • Knowledge of all relevant threats and counter measures
  • Knowledge and experience with relevant compliance frameworks (NIST preferred)
  • Experience developing, deploying, and operating controls in a large enterprise environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science / information security.
  • Possession of industry-recognized security certifications
  • Familiarity with security frameworks and industry technology standards

What you'll Need:

  • 8 -12 years of security and technology experience, preferably in Fortune 500 companies including exposure to client / sales support.
  • Ability to act as a strategist and champion for security; paint a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to act.
  • High level of credibility, with an accomplished background in security, preferably in environments with a high level of complexity and regulatory profiles, including Financial Services, Healthcare and the US Government and associated entities.
  • Experience facilitating large scale Application and Data governance security programs, protecting sensitive personal.
  • Experience at implementing and operationalizing cyber security programs/projects at scale.
  • Ability to develop teams that deliver key objectives and navigate the security landscape.
  • Builds constructive relationships with diverse groups of people, including internal stakeholders and external stakeholders (i.e., vendors, peer groups, regulators, auditors etc.) and rating agencies.
  • Steps up to address difficult issues, saying what needs to be said.
  • Experience in a security leadership role working with legal, risk, and audit teams to ensure strong cooperation and collaboration.

Salary Pay Range

Minimum :

112,700 USD

Maximum :

178,900 USD
