The primary purpose of this position is to conduct a wide variety of computer forensic examinations, related peripheral equipment and other automation/data storage devices; such as mobile and any electronic devices which connect to the internet; as well as various forms of digital evidence. Develop and teach computer forensic analysis techniques and procedures.



Duties
  • Conducts substantive analysis of digital media to develop evidence in the specialty area of computer forensics. Receives and maintains the integrity of evidence.
  • Employee independently performs substantive research and development (R&D) of computer forensic methods and procedures.
  • Employee teaches and develops training in computer-related forensic software, DCFL's standard operating procedures, report writing, and other elements of the job.
