This position is in Salary Grade CS2, with a minimum salary of $19.03 per hour. The successful candidate's salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the salary grade range. This position is eligible for full-time fringe benefits package.

General Description
The Service Center Specialist is the central point of contact for all technology-related incidents and service requests. The role of the Service Center Specialist is to provide support for all staff and students at Northeast.
The Service Center Specialist is responsible for logging incidents and service requests and resolving support requests ensuring that service levels and targets are achieved as well as meeting customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery demands.
Client Services staff provide services over the phone, through email, in-person (for walk-in customers), and through chat.Qualifications:
Education
A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associates degree is preferred.

Experience
Requires two years of experience in related field.

Skills
Requires strong communication skills to work successfully with the public and coworkers while providing quality customer service.
Must have the ability to use a telephone system, including changes to internal settings, and must be skilled in Microsoft Office.
Requires proficient use of spelling, punctuation, grammar, proofreading and math skills and ability to learn other computer applications and print equipment.
Must be able to conform to deadlines. Requires independent judgment.Special Instructions to Applicants
