Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Change Manager is responsible for leading change management activities for medium to large technology driven initiatives at Equipment Depot. The role will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing a change plan to ensure change impacts of initiatives are fully understood and managed successfully through a project's duration.

The role is critical to successful delivery of Equipment Depot's digital roadmap.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Drafting an overall change management strategy
  • Conducting a stakeholder analysis, to identify the various stakeholder groups and the required level of engagement
  • Developing, and managing execution against, an overall change management plan
  • Developing a strategy for capturing change impacts across the program
  • Developing, and managing execution against, a communications plan for how the program will communicate and engage with various stakeholder groups
  • Drafting end user communications
  • Developing, and managing execution against, an overall training plan
  • Centrally coordinating development of training materials in various formats
  • Providing regular status on change activities, for both internal and external leadership
  • Implementing change management best practices into the company
  • Establishing a change management methodology that can be used across projects / initiatives
  • Working with various third parties to understand technology capabilities


Qualifications:

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Bachelor's Degree is preferred (Four year college/university) or equivalent industry experience.

Experience: 5+ years experience in a project orientated IT environment, including experience in change management roles.

Computer Skills: Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills; Experience with change management methodology. Experience in large systems implementations.

Other Requirements: Any IT security certifications are a major advantage. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and manage cross-functional teams effectively.
