The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a full-time or part-time Suites Bartender to join us at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. As a Suites Bartender, you will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at events while providing an excellent guest experience.

Pay

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn't include any potential tipped earnings.

Responsibilities

  • Set up portable bar with all the appropriate items
  • Organize wine and champagne service for meal functions
  • Maintain bar supplies and glasswareand know drink recipes, prices, and types of beverages available
  • Measure all drinks using a shot glass and encourage sales to guests
  • Ensureall bar billing is accurate and money drops are done at the end of the shift

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience
  • Experience in cash handling and credit card processing required
  • Previous experience using computerized point of sale system required

Physical Requirements

  • Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to lift stock up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Noise level may be moderate to high during busy times
