Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a seasonal Restaurant Cashier to join our team at Grant Grove in Kings Canyon National Park, California. Providing excellent guest service is always our most important drive on the job. As a Restaurant Cashier, you will collaborate with team members to facilitate all transactions and keep track of orders. Pay

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn't include any potential tipped earnings.

Note: Additional benefits including insurance and vacation are available for eligible year-round positions at other Delaware North properties Responsibilities Collaborate with dining room, service, and kitchen team members to keep track of all orders, monetary situations, and charges, validating methods of payment, completing transactions, and providing accurate change, documentation and receipts, and dispense the accurate amount of if needed
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts
Scan items and ensure pricing is correct, resolving discrepancies and processing payments
Clean up checkout area and keep organized; keep receipt paper and other stationery stocked
Maintain accurate tabs on restaurant tables' orders using the venue's primary point of sale system
Qualifications Previous cash handling experience
Excellent guest service skills
Basic math skills; ability to accurately count change and balance bank
No high school diploma or GED required
