What you will do-

Creates and maintains production schedules by considering sales order priorities, material availability, and production capacity. Enforces sales order/work order scheduling policy and procedures designed to protect planning lead times and ensure customer demand is fulfilled according to consolidated order priorities. The objective is to maintain production schedule stability and adherence to sales order due dates.

  • Analyze sales orders within the planning lead time to ensure material is available to fulfill scheduled orders
  • Utilize ERP and work with Procurement to ensure accurate material availability dates
  • Collaborate with marketing, production, engineering, distribution, purchasing, and customer service for revised priorities and rescheduling in case of design changes, material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions
  • Release Job orders to production and monitor existing orders
  • Ensure customer delivery requirements are met
  • Actively participate in material allocations between production and CS
  • Perform analysis highlighting trends, drivers, and issues with production planning, and initiates countermeasures to resolve issues
  • Participate as a planning representative on cross-functional project teams
  • Coordinate the activities of one or more clerks and/or other non-exempt employee(s)

What you need-

  • 0+ years in production scheduling or related work experience - required
  • Bachelor's Degree is Supply Chain or related degree - required
  • Advanced skill level required for Excel and Word
  • Demonstrated planning, analytical, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Exhibits positive people skills, and a team approach to problem resolution
  • Business System application knowledge in Sales Order Management, Production Scheduling, and Inventory Control
  • Ability to interpret written and oral specifications
