Responsibilities:

  • Offer clinical psychological assessment and therapy services to children and adolescents dealing with various issues related to their diagnoses and treatment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals in the Division of Hematology/Oncology for patient care.
  • Train and supervise postdoctoral associates, interns, and practicum students in caring for children under Hematology/Oncology.
  • Engage in clinical research activities, including collaborating on projects with other faculty, assisting in project design and data collection, and contributing to grant applications and manuscripts.
  • Participate in the Mailman Center psychology training program by providing supervision to clinical psychology trainees and giving lectures on psychological services for different clinical issues.

Qualifications:

  • Hold an APA-approved PhD (or PsyD) in clinical psychology with clinical internship experience.
  • Be licensed as a Psychologist in Florida.
  • Possess relevant clinical experience working with children.
