The Opportunity

As a Molecular Applications Specialist (MAS), you will provide technical expertise, training, and support to hospital and reference laboratory customers who are using our GenMark products. You will ensure customer satisfaction, drive product adoption, and foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

The Territory
  • This is a field-based role that will require air and/or car travel approximately 80%, including overnight travel.
  • The territory includes the following states: CO, WY, SD, ND, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, and WI.
  • You should currently reside in Denver or Minneapolis.
  • You will be provided a company car for this position.

Your Challenges
  • Provide onsite support and troubleshooting assistance to customers, resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other internal teams to identify customer needs, opportunities, and challenges, and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Conduct product installations, qualifications, upgrades, and other implementation support, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, key opinion leaders, and strategic partners, representing Roche Diagnostics with professionalism and integrity.

Who You Are

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology or equivalent field
  • 2+ years of experience implementing, and evaluating complex laboratory, IT products, medical diagnostic equipment, reagents and/or systems
  • Field implementation and training specialist experience or related experience

  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Effective planning, organizational, territory, and time-management skills.
  • Technical proficiency in molecular and/or microbiology techniques.
