Job Description:

At Regions, the Commercial Real Estate Appraisal Review Analyst at this level is responsible for low complexity evaluations, appraisals, and appraisal reviews, as well as consultations to loan officers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensures that appraisal requests for proposals and responses are received in a timely manner
  • Reviews appraisal reports submitted by vendors and/or independent field appraisers to determine the quality of the appraisal work and that it meets Regions' policy
  • Communicates with vendors and/or field appraisers regarding appraisal work
  • Ensures that assignments are engaged properly when sufficient responses have been received
  • Follows up with vendors and/or independent field appraisers to ensure that appraisals are received within committed time frame
  • Establishes market values and property rating in support of real estate investments in equity and loans
  • Conducts studies of real estate values and trends in markets
  • Consistently seeks to grow skill set and knowledge base as it relates to the business area

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position will work a hybrid schedule with a combination of in-office and remote work

This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Ability to pursue appraiser certification in a state in Regions' footprint
  • Two (2) years of related experience, preferably in Commercial Real Estate

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to learn additional systems as needed
  • Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
  • Ability to work in a team environment when applicable
  • Ability to work under direct guidance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
