Responsibilities: HVAC Service Technician

  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Diagnose system malfunctions, identify root causes of issues, and recommend and implement appropriate repair solutions, including replacing defective parts, adjusting controls, and calibrating equipment.
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections and assessments of HVAC systems, including checking electrical connections, testing airflow and refrigerant levels, and evaluating system performance to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns.
  • Communicate with clients to explain service options, provide estimates for repair costs, and answer any questions or concerns they may have, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the service process
  • Be able to communicate to the office any additional work or engineering issues that may be require an RFI or change orders.
  • Be able to give direction and oversee the actions of an apprentice if under your direct supervision.
  • Perform all the required duties while adhering to company safety policies and regulations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Commercial/Industrial HVAC Experience
  • Magnetic Bearing experience
  • Centrifugal Chiller experience/ High & Low pressure is a plus
  • High School Diploma or greater.
  • Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
  • Must have strong skillset of commercial HVAC products, installation, and mechanical understanding
  • Strong understanding of HVAC functions, ductwork modifications and design
  • Great communication skills with both clients, coworkers, and project managers.
  • Strong leadership skills and work ethic is a must
  • Strong analytical and logic skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of precision on detailed work
  • Must have stable background/work history to be considered for this position
