Wash, Grease, & Pack Floater Essential Responsibilities:
- Clean parts in the proper manner, by bath, wiping or scraping.
- Apply the proper lubricant by injection, bath or hand application.
- Inspect for any product defects such as cracks, bad plating, damage or any other irregularity.
- Assure correct part number, assemble packaging and package in the appropriate container. Prepare and attach proper labeling.
- Install press fit or threaded fittings into appropriate parts.
- Assemble linkages and check for print conformity.
- Operate departmental machines including but not limited to: aqueous washer, de-magnetizer and greaser.
- Take stock finished goods cage. Assist in maintaining real time inventory.
- Perform duties associated with the inkjet marking operation
Wash, Grease, & Pack Floater General Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary or trades / technical education and certifications preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and shop math competencies
- Strong ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
- Strong ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, suppliers, and plant leadership
