Private Practice Dental Hygienist
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health in a professional and compassionate manner.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental cleanings and assist with procedures under the supervision of a dentist
- Conduct patient assessments including vital signs and medical history review
- Utilize Dentrix software for accurate patient charting and scheduling
- Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Document medical information accurately using medical terminology
- Proven experience in hygienist duties
- Familiarity with medical documentation and record keeping
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Certification in dental hygiene required
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Proficiency in Dentrix software
