This integrated health center is seeking a full-time Pedodontist/Pediatric Dentist who believes every child deserves quality oral healthcare and strives to improve lives and strengthen their communities. We believe everyone has the right to quality healthcare regardless of ability to pay. Our team focuses on providing compassionate care for every patient, whether in our clinics, in our schools, in long-term care facilities, and even the workplace. Our goal is to provide care that keeps our community healthy and happy.
Dentist responsibilities:
Be socially and culturally sensitive to communicate effectively with ethnically and economically diverse patient-and-employee baseDemonstrate a high level of customer service both internally and externally and in accordance with organization's missionProvide complete, comprehensive outpatient care for dental/oral conditions to include oral examination and treatment of conditions, as well as follow up careMake appropriate referrals to internal disciplines and/or external resources/agencies for additional services requiredInstruct assigned dental assistantsProvide dental consultation to other providers within health center, as neededParticipates in dental outreach activities, as assignedParticipates in on-call system for after-hours care for established patients of the practiceAssures dental policies as related to services are current and accurateQualifications:
Full licensure to practice dentistry in the State of KansasGraduation from an accredited school of dentistryCompletion of an accredited pediatric practice residency programBLS and PALS certification is requiredA strong community/public health orientation, preferredCommitment to serving the underservedBenefits:

We are an integrated health care center, offering a range of medical services including dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, walk-in care, addiction treatment and other areas. Additional services beyond healthcare include transportation, care coordination, help with insurance enrollment, and more.
We opened our doors in 1997 on the second floor of a 90-year-old elementary school building as a community outreach of Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center, the hospital Mother Mary Bernard Sheridan, a Sister of St. Joseph, founded in 1903. Her mission was to bring healthcare to the poorest in our region and she did so by building a hospital on donated land and providing care for all.
