Job Description:
Responsible for investigating, identifying, and implementing application system changes forRPG Surround code for the RxClaim application. This position is responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing or proposed application systems to process data. This position is also responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs and collaborating with other team members by providing technical advice. This ties into Payment and Billing.
Interaction level with Management/Team Members: Consult with System Analysts, Technical Leads,and Project Managers and to establish specifications and estimations on complex initiatives and requests
Work with System Analysts, Technical Leads, and Business Users to develop and implement acceptance test plan to ensure product meets customer requirements and expectations
Required Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
- Proficiency in IBM I-Series (AS/400) technologies RPG IV (ILE), DB2/400 RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLE
- At least 8 years of experience in AS400, RPGLE,CLLE ,
- Experience with source code management/change control (for example MKS)
- At least 2 years of experience in translating functional/non-functional requirements to system requirements.
- Experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI,CMSetc.)
- Previous experience in PBM / health care industry
- Understanding of security implications of domain
- Soft Skills Needed:
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team and independently
- Strong technical problem-solving and analysis skills, sharing ideas and solutions with team
- Ability to transition abstract concepts into stable and supportable software solutions
- Ability to develop unbiased options and recommendations to technical problems and unbiased comparisons
- Experience and understanding of Production support and Project engineering.
- Ability to work in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate with all levels within the organization in a professional manner.
- Excellent customer service and time management skills.
- Extremely detail-oriented, fast learner and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Strong traits of decisiveness and judgment,
- Excellent documentation skills
Hourly W2 pay rate $
