Grain Elevator

Welcome to Walton Elevator We're a grain facility located in Walton, Indiana (13 miles north of Kokomo, IN) we offer grain storage and feed mixes for cattle, swine, equine, and poultry.

We're hiring a Grain Elevator – Feed Mill Manager who is highly motivated to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for purchasing grain from local producers and reselling the product.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing, selling, and maintaining outstanding condition of grain.
• Scheduling logistics of transferred product.
• Maintain grain dryers and storage bins.
• Oversee a staff, providing daily direction, coaching, and monitoring performance.
• Respond in a timely and professional manner to customer inquiry and needs.
• Manage safely, legally, ethically, morally, and profitably.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or other related field.
• 2 years of prior experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train
• Outstanding leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team setting.
• Dedicated and motivated to building a strong team environment.
• Valid Driver's license and willingness to obtain a CDL.
