QUALIFICATIONS
Licensed physician in Ohio to practiceBoard certified in Internal Medicine/Hospital Medicine/Family MedicineDemonstrated leadership abilityStrong communication skills with ability to interact positively with medical team, patients, and hospitalCertifications as required by Hospital Bylaws (e.g. ACLS, PALS, )DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES include:Promote the development and implementation of patient focused In collaboration with hospital administration and the MHY Hospitalist Medical Director, develops policies and procedures for the care ofParticipates in patient, medical staff, and administrative complaint resolutionEnsures all departmental policies are followed by staffParticipates in divisional and corporate officeMeets with hospital administration and the MHY Hospitalist Medical Director to discuss program progress, problems and proposed solutions, and future departmental goals.Meets with emergency department leadership to discuss integration and patient careServes as primary liaison between hospitalists and care team.Participates in long-range planning for facility design, equipment acquisition, and new services.Works with administration on the implementation of the region wide hospitalist program.Works with hospital administration to determine staffingActively engaged in recruitment efforts.Participation in new physician hiring process.Works with scheduler to complete schedule and filling deficiencies.BENEFITS:Sign on bonus, medical education loan repayment, health and malpractice insurance with tail coverage, relocation assistance, retirement plan and more.
