The client is a leading Investment management firm in Fairfield County, CT.

The Network Engineer will be on site in a hybrid capacity.

Job Description

Resonsibilities:

Network Management: Oversee and troubleshoot Cisco firewalls, routers, Ethernet, and SAN switches.Firewall Administration: Manage Palo Alto firewalls, including log reviews and connectivity troubleshooting.Voice Systems Management: Handle Cisco Call Manager and related applications, including Webex integration.Connectivity Troubleshooting: Resolve connectivity issues related to LAN, VoIP, and circuits.Equipment Upgrades: Install and upgrade network and voice equipment outside of normal business hours.

The Successful Applicant

The Network Engineer must have the following to be considered for the role:

Educational Background: Holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.Industry Experience: Has 4+ years of experience implementing and supporting network technologies, particularly Cisco and Palo Alto.Troubleshooting Skills: Demonstrates strong troubleshooting abilities and experience working with vendor support to resolve issues.Communication Abilities: Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface with end-users and understand their needs.Organizational Skills: Exhibits strong organizational and documentation skills, with the ability to independently solve problems and manage time efficiently.

What's on Offer

The projected base salary range for this role spans from $130,000 to $160,000 annually. This position will also be eligible for a bonus.
