  • Review and reinforce learning previously introduced by the classroom or special education teacher and assist in drill and practice activities.
  • Participate in required workshops by request of Building Leader, Supervisor, or Director.
  • Perform non-instructional, non-evaluating functions including suspension of students.
  • Assist in preparation of instructional materials or provide classroom management functions during emergency drills, assemblies, play periods, etc.
  • Alerts teacher to any problem or special information about an individual student.

Full Job Description ) Certification/License:Certification as an Education Technician from the Maine Department of EducationCriminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education Education: Appropriate for Ed Technician Certification LevelExperience: Successful prior classroom experience or working with stduent with specail needs for the appropriate grade levels is preferred, but not required.Live and Work in the Biddeford, Maine Community
