Job Summary:


A Clinical Sciences Professional is being sought to oversee grant-funded clinical research at Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center.

We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to work with people of all ages, from young children to young adults, to help advance our understanding of the development, diagnosis, and management of diabetes in people with cystic fibrosis.

The individual to be hired will be responsible primarily for the day-to-day operations of clinical research studies and regularly engage with our cystic fibrosis and diabetes clinical care teams.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and screening of participants for eligibility.
  • Approaching, enrolling, and consenting participants.
  • Overseeing study procedures and administering study assessments.
  • Database management.
  • Regulatory submissions.

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.

Intermediate Professional:

  • One (1) year clinical research or related experience.

Senior Professional:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • Two (2) years clinical research or related experience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a higher education institution.
  • Experience with computer applications, spreadsheet and database software such as Excel and REDCap strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with young children.

  • Experience with computer applications, spreadsheet, and database software such as Excel and REDCap strongly preferred.

Senior Professional:

  • Three (3) years of clinical research or related experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to handle both blood and laboratory specimens for processing.
  • Ability to enter data effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of research study participants.

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as

Entry:
$47,084 to $59,891

Intermediate:
$51,239 to $65,176

Senior:
$55,393 to $70,460


The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
