Responsible for leveraging cutting edge technology to solve business problems by participating in all phases of the development process from inception through transition, advocating the agile process and test-driven development, using object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test reusable objects, and making the codebase better.

Contract Duration: 4 Months

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
  • 3 - 5 years' Experience in the following: Python for Data Engineering and Modelling (Pandas, Pyspark, numpy, scikit-learn, pytorch, SQL, etc.), Azure Data Factory and Data Bricks and Containerization tools like Docker.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM and KanBan.
  • Proficiency Python Development for Data Engineering and Modeling.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles.
  • Experience in DevOps methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
  • UI Frameworks: React, Angular.
  • Database and persistence frameworks: Hibernate, Object/Relational Mapping, Query performance tuning.
  • SQL Schema and Relationships creation and management.
  • Web Services: REST/SOAP (JSON/WSDL/XML).
  • Experience with Cloud-based Resources (Azure): App Services and Azure Container Instances.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure automation: Terraform, Ansible, etc.
  • Dev Ops Toolchain: GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Black Duck, Selenium, SonarQube etc.
  • Experience with NoSQL DBs like MongoDB, Cassandra etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
    Desired Skills & Experience
    • Experience with SQL Schema and Relationships creation and management.
    • Experience in R programming language.
    • Experience with UI frameworks like Angular or React.
    • Airline Industry experience.
