Job Summary:
Pickup and delivery in the Portland, Metro area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties as assigned by the PDX Ops Manager.

Accepting pickup and delivery assignments via mobile device.

Updating shipment information in real time

Local route to include commercial accounts as well as airlines.

Pre and post trip requirements:
Responsible for ensuring the vehicles are clean and meet maintenance standards and requirements

Communicate with dispatch and PDX Ops Manager throughout route.

Loading/Unloading and/ or supervise loading/unloading of transfer trucks and stage items in appropriate area when needed.

Occasional Box Truck assignments

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. You will be goal oriented, flexible, detail oriented, a fair and impartial leader, take initiative and solve problems. Think creatively and take personal pride and ownership of the route assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Age requirement is 21 and above. Must meet requirements set forth by our Insurance Carrier.

Education/

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in transportation industry.

Certificates and Licenses:
Possess Class A license and current DOT Medical card
