This role has the flexibility of a work-from-home option up to three days a week. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Prepare and maintain engineering plans and schedules
  • Design, simulate, and test renewable power control applications for solar, battery, and wind generation assets
  • Process electronic databases with industry standard communication protocols and hardwired I/O signals
  • Support customer Factory Acceptance Tests
  • Support site commissioning and Site Acceptance Tests
  • Initiate requisitions for project purchases and manage subcontractors
  • Manage the design, test, and shipment(s) of project hardware
  • Provide suggestions for improvements of products or processes
  • Manage time effectively to meet schedule/commitments
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Monitor project financial performance

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, technical discipline, or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years' of power generation control system applications or SCADA experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience in renewable power sector
  • Previous client facing experience
  • Previous experience with Emerson's Ovation software and hardware products
