Associate Therapist Position

The Associate Therapist collaborates in a dynamic interdisciplinary team, offering treatment services based on the Center for Discovery Clinical Model. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, conducting milieu interventions, leading therapy groups, performing clinical assessments, therapy sessions, and other case management duties.

  • Essential Functions:
  • Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation.
  • Establish therapeutic relationships with patients and their families.
  • Conduct admission assessments with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and share treatment goals.
  • Conduct the required number of therapy sessions per week, including family sessions.
  • Lead therapy and psychoeducational groups daily.
  • Participate in meal/snack sessions weekly.
  • Facilitate multi-family groups and provide utilization reviews to insurance companies.
  • Conduct discharge sessions with patients to ensure understanding of coping skills and resources.
  • Confirm discharge appointments with patients and their families.
  • Communicate with referral sources and outpatient providers for continuity of care.

This full-time role requires Monday to Friday availability.

Qualifications:

$2,000 sign-on bonus offered for this position.

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in behavioral healthcare.
  • Active clinical license in the state of application.
