Group Description

Vehtek Systems (a division of Magna International) is located in Bowling Green, Ohio. Vehtek is a Class A automotive stamping and assembly facility manufacturing automotive body system components for GM, Ford, FCA, Honda and other aftermarket customers. We operate a 500,000 square foot facility with approximately 1,000 employees. Role Summary

Maintenance Tech supports the manufacturing operations by maintaining, trouble shooting and repairing all facilities and manufacturing equipment in a safe and orderly fashion as directed by the maintenance leader.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Maintaining and updating equipment records, schematics, blueprints, and files.
  • Maintain department repair parts stock and inventory while adhering to customer requirements, Business Operating Systems and company policies.
Key Qualifications/Requirements

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years experience as a machine repair/electrician experience or minimum 8 years experience with Associate's Degree/Journeyperson status in Maintenance Electrician
  • Forklift License required

Training Requirements:

  • Technical training in the following areas
    • Hydraulic/pneumatic system maintenance and repair
    • Mechanical power transmission maintenance and repair
    • Combustion gas train maintenance and repair
    • HVAC maintenance and repair
    • Industrial electronics
    • Welding and fabrication
    • Machine tool operation, maintenance and repair
    • Automotive, forklift, work platforms operation
    • Robot and PLC programming and trouble shooting
