RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership, direction, and support of the quality programs to ensure safety., reliability and quality of end products and that customer needs and specifications are met.
- Coordinate activities and maintenance to retain compliance for the ISO Registration and other regulatory agency certifications. Participate in development, documentation, implementation, and audit of ISO and Company Policies, Procedures and Processes.
- Coordinate and perform Quality Control activities to ensure materials, components, assemblies, and end products meet defined specifications.
- Perform role responsibilities of the QCPV Inspector per the Hull Company, Division of SP Industries Pressure Vessel Quality Control Manual.
- Develop, measure, display suitable metrics (i.e. supplier performance, OOBF, MTBF, MTBR). Take appropriate action and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Participate in Supplier evaluation, selection, performance rating, and quality programs.
- Coordinate the Non-conforming Material Activity (NMR) and the Material Review Board (MRB).
- Participate in the Returned Materials (RMA) and Repair process.
- Participate in design and development activities as a Quality Consultant to ensure end products meet reliability, safety, quality, and customer needs and specifications.
- Support and provide cooperative assistance with all Internal Departments and interaction with Customers, Suppliers, Representatives, and Consultants/Contractors.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- B.S. Degree from an accredited university or college. Engineering degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 9000
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
