This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.

Duties
  • Plan for and conduct cybersecurity and cyber survivability Cyber Test and Evaluation (CTE) of Information Technology/National Security Systems (IT/NSS).
  • Lead or serve as member of test teams conducting attack vector development, cyber tabletop exercises, penetration tests, and vulnerability and adversarial assessments.
  • Prepare and present plans, briefings, and reports to senior leaders to effectively communicate CTE approaches, requirements, findings, and recommendations.
  • Research, analyze, and report on cyber vulnerability assessment findings and recommended courses of action to mitigate cyber risks.
  • Apply automated tools and manual methods, such as the use of Red Teams, to determine system Cyber Security Risk Posture or Cyber Survivability.
