Maintenance Electrician

Candidates will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production and packaging machinery. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and install 12v-480v single and 3 phase electrical systems and components.

Daily Duties Include:

1. Connect Power Supply wires to machines and equipment

2. Connect cables and wires between machines and equipment

3. Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors and lighting fixtures.

4. Replace Damaged or broken wires and cables.

5. Draw and Interpret Electrical Schematics

6. Plans layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.

7. Install Power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment including conveyors and programmable controls

8. Understanding of microprocessor hardware and software configurations and be able to perform basic analog and digital circuit design.

9. Ability to program Programmable Logic Controllers using basic and ladder logic, read and write wiring diagrams, schematics and blueprints and analytical diagnosis of problems.

Other ideal skill sets and experience with:

1. Thermoformers, injection mold, Extruders

2. Allen Bradley and Siemens

3. 480 volts / wiring motors

4. Variable Frequency Drives

5. PLC programs

6. Pull Conduit

1 shift and 3rd shifts available
