The Casa Loma Beach Hotel Bellperson is responsible for providing genuine hospitality in every aspect of the hotel guest experience, from greeting, assisting with luggage, escorting guests to rooms, providing beach and pool services when needed, and supporting the front desk guest needs as required. This is a "hand on and heartfelt" role

Essential Functions:


Enthusiastically greet arriving and departing guests according to Purpose, Pillars and Service Essentials.

Escort guests to their rooms, providing guests with a full orientation of the property, the general areas, and the room or suite itself.

Assist departing guests with transport and storage of luggage.

Assist our guests with beach amenities to enjoy Main Beach in Laguna.

Work closely with leadership and front desk associates to seamlessly anticipate and communicate any guest requests, issues or concerns.

Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

Education: N/A

Certificates or Licenses: N/A

Experience: Previous guest service experience in a hotel/resort/restaurant/service environment is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate in a warm, welcoming, anticipatory and knowledgeable manner, particularly information for reasons such recommendations, directions and hotel offerings.
  • Ability to operate a bell cart.
  • Must be able to move lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 80 pounds.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing, intermittently for up to 8 hours a day, or more if approved by management.
  • Ability to embrace and follow instructions from supervisors/leadership.
