Position Summary


Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Specialist Master in Charlotte, North Carolina and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do


Manage information technology projects that lead clients through complex transitions that come with transactions and transformations that are part of that journey, including target identification and pre-deal due diligence, M&A roadmaps, strategies, and synergy targets, developing Day 1 projects and plans and post Day 1 planning and execution.

Manage integrated, cross-functional teams that deliver Merger & Acquisition (M&A) engagements across all phases of the M&A lifecycle include due-diligence, pre-close, and post-merger integration.

Manage the design organization design, policies, process maps, and performance measures utilizing operating model assessment methodology, spans and layer analysis, and industry benchmarking techniques from sources.

Manage the design, architecture, development, release, operation, and maintenance of software and advanced analytics products to help clients proactively plan and implement post-merger integration activities as well as manage complex carve out projects.

Manage service excellence by identifying key business issues, determining needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating and validating analysis, and developing recommendations.

Manage aspects of the proposal development process and contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.

Perform role of counselor and coach, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, and provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.

Improve internal processes, and promote knowledge sharing in the team, by contributing to the community of practice, blogs, and other forms of market eminence.


  • 50% Travel required nationally.
  • Telecommuting permitted.
  • Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Requirements

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM degree or a related field. Must have 3 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) and 5 years of progressive related work experience.

Position requires 3 years of related work experience in each of the following:

  • Providing subject matter expertise across components of IT, including infrastructure, applications, IT operations, Active Directory migration, enterprise architecture, and testing, and conducting Disaster Recovery tests annually to ensure readiness for business continuity, disaster events, and to determine appropriate mitigation plans;
  • Leading Insurance and Manufacturing Domain Data Center migration activities to private Cloud, including upgraded network environment, Domain Name System (DNS) service activations, database conversion from Oracle to Microsoft (MS) SQL, and migrated server environment from physical to virtual, utilizing PlateSpin, SQL Server Migration Assistant, and MS Project Plan;
  • Conducting business plan reviews, operational due diligence, resource assessments, and M&A implementation planning, using revenue cycle assessments, operational blueprinting methodology, and operational due diligence playbook;
  • Coordinating postmigration support to troubleshoot any IT related issues, utilizing ServiceNow and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) methodology;
  • Leading implementation of conversions to migrate customers from legacy systems by leveraging relations across teams, including business stakeholders and technical teams;
  • Tracking and reporting on project and milestone deliverable status to ensure timely project delivery and communicating updates to internal and external stakeholders, utilizing MS Project Plan and Waterfall methodology;
  • Leading, developing, and mentoring staff, assessing engagement performance, and performing yearend reviews;
  • Leading daytoday interactions, and developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients while working in an onshore/offshore model.
