About the Role

Dandy is hiring an experienced, Carrollton, Texas based HR professional to join our rapidly growing venture-backed company. In this role you will be a foundational member of the team to help grow the organization and build out the HR infrastructure. This person will work closely with HRBPs and other internal functions to ensure employees at Dandy have a seamless experience with People systems and processes.

This is an onsite role and will require you to be in office Monday-Friday.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as sole HR point of contact for the Dandy Texas Dental Lab
  • Spearhead culture initiatives, drive employee engagement, and own related OKRs for Dandy Texas Dental Lab
  • Directly provide HR support for Dandy manufacturing leadership and employees
  • Partner with the Lab leadership team and cross-functional departments to build and improve People processes and projects
  • Streamline existing administrative operations (employee records, internal databases)
  • Prepare HR documents like employment contracts, employee handbook revisions, and employee communications
  • Create, iterate, and have ownership of site HR policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with internal (e.g. recruiting) and external (e.g. insurance vendors) partners
  • Ensure legal compliance in HR-related issues
  • Serve as the site frontline point of contact by providing information, addressing employee questions, and resolving issues about HR-related matters
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, parental leave, etc.)

What We're Looking For

  • 3-5+ years experience as an HR Generalist, HR Manager, HR Business Partner or similar position
  • Experience leading the HR function for an operations workforce - including hourly, nonexempt populations of 100+ employees
  • Ability to build rapport and serve as a trusted partner to site leadership and employees; influence and drive HR strategic actions and inclusive culture
  • Experience in implementing and enforcing HR policies and processes
  • Experience in managing HR investigations and leading site level Employee Relations actions
  • Thorough knowledge of and experience applying relevant legal/compliance regulations (ADA, FMLA, EEO, etc)
  • Proficiency in GSuite and HR software programs
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant legal regulations
