Principal Program Control Analyst, Scheduling

The Program Schedule Analyst prepares, develops and coordinates the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives. Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including but not limited to finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Monitors program schedule performance, tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts. Utilizes schedule charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas. Updates and prepares reports for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establishment of a Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) with providing integrated cost and schedule systems
- Perform analysis of the schedule data at the activity / task level to ensure all contract schedules and milestones are achieved
- Identify potential risk items and report status to Program Management through critical path analysis and schedule risk assessments (SRA) as required
- Determine critical path items and constraints
- Conduct IMS Team Meetings, monthly Control Account Manager (CAM) Reviews, weekly schedule updates, end of month updates (milestones start/finish/duration level) maintenance & variance reporting
- Perform recurring schedule status to be reported monthly
- Provide schedule reporting to the program team to demonstrate program status.
- Assessment of the IMS to the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) IMS Assessment Guidelines to ensure quality schedule practices
- Conduct schedule tracking measurements to assess schedule health/performance
- Support schedule health metric reviews
- Prepare and analyze Program Management IMS Metrics
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in, Operations, Technical field of study, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar applicable discipline; or equivalent experience, and four (4) years of planning/scheduling experience; or a Master's Degree and two (2) year of related experience.
- Ability to support the team in monitoring program schedule performance and activities
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel, customers and suppliers
- Make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
- Analyze, evaluate, develop and implement processes and systems within budget and adhere to time requirements and schedule
- Experience supporting the development of process-compliant program and proposal schedules
- Experience in program execution and risk management
- Proficiency in Defense project Program Planning, Critical Path methodology and Microsoft Project skills.
- Assists program management in periodic Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) updates and prepares reports for customer and/or business management personnel
- Preferred experience with scheduling tools such as OnePager Pro, for Project-DCMA Analyzer, and Barbecana Full Monte Schedule Risk
- Experience supporting the development of critical and driving path analyses
- Supports that schedules are fully compliant with company, customer, and industry requirements (DID 81861, IPMR-Integrated Program Management Report)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $ $149100
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
