What your Day Will Look Like:
- Conduct underwriting analysis based on clients' plan history and change in risk to negotiate the best insurance rates possible on their behalf;
- Assist consultants with negotiating renewal ratings; and preparing quarterly experience reviews, letters.
- Perform market reviews and benchmarks to meet the evolving business needs of our clients;
- Preparing financial exhibits,
- Analyzing quotations and preparing specifications for seeking quotations; and
- Arranging and writing the client report summarizing quotation results.
- Reviewing group insurance contracts, agreements, and employee booklets;
- Promoting good public relations by developing strong working relationships with clients and insurance company representatives;
Skills and Expertise That Will Lead to Success:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience; relevant experience in a consulting/insurance environment working in group underwriting and group benefits departments preferred;
- Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Must have Advanced Excel proficiency;
- Completion of at least 3 SOA exams, and working towards completion of ASA designation

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position intended for U.S. applicants is $75k-$95k annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of State/Region. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive [an annual discretionary bonus] in addition to base salary. The amount of any [bonus] varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
