Summary

This NAVIGATOR (INSTRUCTOR) position, is located at the unit level in the Air National Guard (ANG) Aviation Wing, Operations Group at flying units in the ANGand is part of the CA 129 RQW.

Duties

THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENTPOSITION

The primary purpose of the NAVIGATOR (INSTRUCTOR), GS , is to navigate unit equipped (UE) aircraft.

Positions specifically covered by this series include (1) Instructor Navigators/CSO's for heavy multiengine transport or tanker aircraft and (2) Instructor Weapon Systems Specialists in fighter or reconnaissance aircraft.

Instructor positions are covered since their career relationships are in the aircraft operation field and the positions have as their paramount requirement experience and training in air navigation.

In addition to navigation responsibilities, performs administrative tasks in support of the Air Operations program.

May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
