A post-doctoral research fellow position is available, with Professors Aditi Verma and Todd Allen from the Fastest Path to Zero Initiative in the Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences Department at the University of Michigan, in the area of nuclear technology, policy, and society. The successful candidate will work on projects focused on creating sociotechnical and community-engaged approaches for fission and fusion energy technology development. An ideal candidate will have (1) technical expertise coupled with (2) quantitative as well as qualitative research experience including conducting interviews, surveys, and focus groups and analyzing resulting data. We are open to considering candidates who have one of these two skillsets as well as a strong motivation to develop the other.

A Ph.D. in a related field.
