POSITION:Summer School - Certified Elementary Teachers (K-3) – Early Start Program

REPORTS TO: School Principal AND Assistant Director of Intervention and Expanded Learning Opportunities

POSITION SUMMARY:

Elementary teachers are needed to staff positions at various schools for students in Grades K-3, in the below subject areas. This program will be in-person.

· General Elementary (K-3)

· Bilingual Elementary

· TESOL

· School Social Worker

· Special Education Teacher

LOCATION:This program will be in-person. The program will run July 8, 2024 – August 2, 2024, Monday – Friday. Location and hours of employment are subject to change based on student enrollment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Connecticut certification in area of instruction.

Teacher of record preferred

Salary and Terms of Employment: Summer school rate as per Appendix D of the HFT contract is $40.00 per hour. No holidays, vacation or sick leave during this scheduled program period. Applicants who cannot work through the entire program due to scheduling conflicts should not apply.

The program will run July 8, 2024 – August 2, 2024, Monday – Friday. Location and hours of employment are subject to change based on student enrollment.
