Job Description
Monitor operational processes across departments to ensure compliance and efficiency.Assist with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) testing to evaluate the effectiveness of controls.Collaborate on Compliance Control Testing and Strategic Risk/Reputation Risk Control Testing initiatives.Coordinate with departmental teams to conduct risk self-assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and monitor controls to minimize risk exposure.Respond to inquiries from Independent risk management and third line of defense regarding risk controls.Assist in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting risk issues and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).Support special projects and tasks assigned to the department.Assist in updating and revising procedures to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and best practices.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful ApplicantBachelor's Degree required2-3 years of relevant experience in compliance or related fieldAdequate knowledge of BSA, AML, US Patriot Act, OFAC, CIP Regulations, and consumer complianceGeneral understanding of bank deposit operations and related commercial banking functionsStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentEffective interaction with management, legal counsel, law enforcement, regulators, and examiners while maintaining confidentialityStrong decision-making, analytical, and investigative abilities with attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
