Summary

This position is located in a State or Area Office in USDA/Rural Development (RD). It is a developmental position with duties designed to provide training and development to prepare the incumbent for advancement to higher level Loan Specialist positions.

NOTE: THIS POSITION IS NOT REMOTE OR VIRTUAL. THE EMPLOYEE WILL BE EXPECTED TO REPORT IN PERSON TO THE ASSIGNED DUTY LOCATION.



Duties
  • The incumbent performs a variety of non-routine assignments within the various programs.
  • The incumbent performs loan processing and servicing assignments of limited scope and complexity designed to contribute to the development of the employee.
  • Assignments consist of such work as reviewing application processing and loan and grant servicing reviews for Single Family Housing (SFH).
  • Under the guidance of a higher graded specialist meets with other lenders and potential borrowers to explain RD
    programs and requirements.
