Massy Distribution USA is actively seeking for an Accounting Assistant to join their new warehouse team in Jacksonville, FL 32218.

Term - Full-time

Hours - Monday-Friday 9:00 AM-5:00 PM

Reports to - Senior Accountant

Job Purpose:


This role is responsible for supporting the accounts team to ensure the integrity of the inventory and maintenance of the ERP system.

It will also support the accountant in effectively managing the company's accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for Accounts Receivable including but not limited to:

  • Monthly statements.
  • Following up on overdue balances.
  • Resolving customer queries.
  • Customer check deposits.
  • Issuing credit notes for customer claims and A&P activity.
Responsible for Inventory Control including but not limited to:

  • Overseeing Inventory stock counts.
  • Resolving inventory differences and reconciliations.
  • Creating new items in the ERP system and maintaining pricing records.
Supports the Accounts Payable Clerk as required to process:

  • Direct order billing.
  • Receipting of inventory.
  • Recording accounts payable invoices.
  • Preparation of payments to vendors.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Associate degree in finance or accounting.
  • 2 years plus experience in an accounting support role.
  • Previous experience working within warehouse/manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Experience with inventory management.
  • Intermediate to advance user of Microsoft Office suite and other analytical tools.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
