JOB SUMMARY:

Home Matters Caregiving is looking for a caregiver with a passion for client care and relationship building for an ongoing assignment.The listed assignment consists of availability Monday to Friday 8a-8p initially and then adjusting down to 10a-4p as client rehabilitates.

Our caregivers perform the most essential task in our industry which is providing a high level ofcare for our clients. Home Matters Caregiving wants to be the most valuable partner to our caregivers and clients in a competitive landscape.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be at least 18 years of ageMust have at least 6 months of caregiving experience with the senior populationMust have sufficient communication and language skills to effectively perform duties

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute client care plans and document daily activitiesAssist clients with activities of daily livingProvide clients with household assistance: food preparation, monitoring home safety, laundering, light housekeepingProvide clients with personal care assistance: hygienic care, mobility assistance, medication reminders, companionship

REQUIREMENTS:

Schedule: Consistent and flexible shiftsExperience: Six months of formal caregiving experience with the senior population

JOB RELATIONSHIPS:

Supervisor: Executive Administrator

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Able to lift 50 lbs. using safe, ergonomic movementsAble to stand, walk, reach, crouch, use hands and fingersAble to talk, hear and seePhysically and mentally able to drive a vehicle

COMPENSATION:

$16.50 to $19.50 per hour depending on experience.
