Consistently provide friendly, engaging, and anticipatory guest service and heartfelt hospitality.
Ensure that the entire pool/beach area is always clean and presentable.
Welcome and greet every pool/beach guest.
Properly recognize hotel guests and be able to use their names.
Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating in the pool/beach area.
Assist pool/beach guests with all pool/beach service offerings and functions, including but not limited to placing pool chairs, assisting with umbrellas, and providing towels.
Provide guests with water, spritzing, towel service, and assistance with seating arrangements at the pool.
Assess pool/beach guests' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
Monitor all guests for alcohol intake to appropriate levels.
Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction and recommendations.
Observe guests and respond to additional requests.
Collect soiled towels and transport them to the laundry.
Stock the pool/beach area with fresh towels.
Maintain the highest level of standards of quality of products and services at all times.
Advise the supervisor/manager of any complaints as soon as they occur.
Perform opening and closing procedures, complete checklists, and assign side work.
Organize the pool/beach area to streamline service.
Clean and sanitize assigned areas and equipment thoroughly in between guest use, before and after shift end.
Monitor and handle guest complaints following the instant pacification procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and personal hygiene.
Demonstrate ability to multi-task, manage time, and work well under pressure.
Adhere to local and government compliance with health and safety regulations to ensure a clean and safe work environment for guests and employees.
Maintain knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures and be aware of accident prevention policies.
Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards.
Maintain a professional, courteous manner with all guests and fellow employees.
Assist with special and deep cleaning projects as assigned by a supervisor.
Perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor.
Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
Exposure to outdoor environment factors (e.g., rain, heat, cold, wind).
Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach and carry with hands and arms.
Able to grasp, lift, and/or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 50 lbs. following appropriate safety procedures.
