Art Director

The Macallan Group is a full-service branding and marketing agency located in Hoboken, NJ. As an Art Director for the agency, you will guide creative and work on a wide range of client projects including: brand development, logos, websites, landing pages, social media content, digital assets, emails, print collateral, billboards, etc.

We are currently seeking a full-time Art Director with:

• an ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced creative environment
• an artistic vision and talent to support our clients in both print and digital
• extreme attention to detail
• excellent verbal and written communication skills
• precise craft and production skills
• a genuine passion for design

Your role will include:

• Creating branding and style guides from conception to completion
• Creating digital designs for websites & landing pages unique for each screen size
• Interacting with the creative team and top-level clients to complete projects timely and on budget
• Processing designs for print and digital

​Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role
• Portfolio of design projects
• Must have the ability to work in-person in our Hoboken, NJ office
• Demonstrated understanding of UI/UX concepts, tools, and deliverables
• Working knowledge of interface design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma or Sketch)
• Experience with the Adobe Suite of design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop)
• An understanding of SEO design best practices and accessibility standards
• Excellent time management, communication skills, and ability to collaborate internally
