About the Role

Produce quality parts, on time, the first time to meet or exceed our customer requirements, while supporting the Magna Employee's Charter and the policies and procedures of Kamtek. Responsible for supporting safety, quality, and productivity while adhering to KAMTEK's plant standards and upholding the Magna Employee's Charter.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Establish and maintain communication with other team members and support departments.
  2. Follow Standard Operating Procedures established for each work station.
  3. Maintain integrity of quality to ensure finished product meets or exceeds Kamtek standards.
  4. Maintain proper documentation of production and inventory using our CMS system.
  5. Must be able to work unsupervised.
  6. Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes.
  7. Monitor and maintain good housekeeping (maximize downtime opportunities).
  8. Follow all plant safety policies and procedures.
  9. TLCQQ – Tagging Correct, Loaded Properly, Closed Properly, Quantity Correct, Quality Parts.
  10. Must be a team player willing to work on any job or area in which you are trained or being trained.
  11. Perform quality checks as required using QID, QIF, FO/LO Process, and Quality alerts as our guide.
Who we are looking for

- Ability to work in a team environment or independently to perform duties with little supervision.

-Ability to communicate with team members on all shifts and possess good mathematical and organizational skills.

Your preferred qualifications

KNOWLEDGE

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED required

OTHER: Safe work practices, general knowledge of mechanical operations.

WORK EXPERIENCE

WHAT TYPES? Previous experience in a manufacturing/fabrication environment is preferred.
