Cosmetic Assistant Professor – Department of Plastic Surgery

The Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and the University of Pittsburgh is recruiting a plastic surgeon at the assistant professor level with clinical and research interests in cosmetic plastic surgery. This position offers the opportunity to join a thriving academic, clinical, and research department in a national center of excellence.

This individual would join an established cosmetic plastic surgery team based at an academic tertiary care facility and engage in all aspects of academic surgery, including clinical care. teaching learners of all levels, clinical research, and service for the department, the institution, and regional/national societies. The ideal candidate must hold an M.D. in pediatric plastic surgery and preferably have completed a fellowship in the same. Interest in cleft-craniofacial procedures is a plus.

We seek an outstanding candidate who has a demonstrated track record of clinical excellence as well as academic productivity.
