IT Specialist

This position is being filled under the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce.

• You will serve as a IT Systems Analyst and critical member of Engineering Division's Technology Support team; recommend courses of action utilizing computers to solve problems.
• You will serve as a ProjectWise administrator, SharePoint site support.
• You will oversee the operation of a network of servers and workstations dedicated to Engineering Division.
• You will maintain and modify a suite of system software and work with CIO/G6 to make software changes and trouble shoot system problems.
• You will catalog new hardware, support COTS (Commercial Off-the-Shelf) and GOTS (Government Off-The-Shelf) engineering software.
• You will perform hardware lifecycle tracking and replacement activities (computers, monitors, printers, plotters, scanners, etc.) and provide Property Hand Receipt Holder support.
• You will ensure optimal operating system performance, a process requiring a high level of system knowledge.
• You will work with CIO/G6 to configure, maintain and upgrade license servers and network software licenses. Maintain licensing and version documentation.
• Possess CompTIA Security +, Microsoft MTA Security certifications, Dell Hardware and Software Specialist.
