The Mercer University School of Medicine seeks a new Marriage & Family Therapist member for the Macon campus.

Responsibilities:

The Mercer University School of Medicine (MUSM), Mercer Medicine, seeks a new Marriage & Family Therapist member to join our Mercer Medicine clinical practice on our Macon campus. While the incumbent will be based in Macon, the candidate will be expected to travel to some of our rural Mercer Medicine clinics to provide services on a regular basis. This is a 100% clinical position.

This position is expected to maintain a financially viable clinical practice at Mercer Medicine. This is a 12-month faculty position. Rank will be determined based on the credentials of the selected candidate.

Qualifications:

Candidates must:

Hold at minimum a Master's Degree in marriage and family therapy or a related field

Be licensed (LMFT) or license eligible (LAMFT) in the state of Georgia as a marriage and family therapist

Have clinical experience with a variety of client populations

Have experience with clinic management

Have familiarity and/or experience with medical settings and culture

Be able to provide direct client services through Mercer Medicine, the group practice for the Mercer University School of Medicine

Experience working with stakeholders and communities in rural, medically underserved areas of Georgia
