Directly responsible for the complete operation of a designated production area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily scheduling of production lines using published production backlog
- Assist in hiring decisions and the selection of department personnel for assignment of duties, promotion, transfer, and discharge, including evaluations and performance reviews
- Maintain product quality using workmanship standards, assembly instructions, test procedures, and other applicable documentation
- Conduct training of assigned personnel
- Maintain safety of work area according to company safety requirements
Minimum Qualifications
This position contains supervisory responsibilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
-1-year supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team environment and prioritize work
- Ability to communicate effectively with subordinates, co workers, management, vendors, and customers
- Work in a fast paced, high stress environment
- This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
